Self Employed Keith will never miss an important call again thanks to his new hearing!

“WOW! I can’t believe all the sounds I’m hearing – it’s amazing. Everything is so clear and sharp”

Keith Carvey, aged 52 from Worthing has been awarded a pair of hearing aids thanks to National Campaign for Better Hearing.

“Hearing is so important – it allows you to live your life to the full and enjoy every one of its magic moments. One of the most precious moments in my life was hearing my daughter Emma’s first little cry when she was born, and another was hearing Brian May twang out the National Anthem from the roof of Buckingham Palace for the Golden Jubilee. It’s brilliant to see a worthy winner Keith be awarded hearing aids by the Campaign for Better Hearing. Other than experiencing hearing loss myself, it is exactly moments like this that are behind why I agreed to be on the judging panel.”

Keith, a mere 52, had been struggling with his hearing for a while. His family were forever complaining about the volume on the TV being too high, and he struggled with conversations at work particularly on the phone.

Thanks to the National Campaign for Better Hearing he was nominated for a free aid by Audiologist Liam Colclough at Hidden Hearing centre in Worthing.

Liam, who tested and nominated Keith, says, “Many people ignore their hearing problems until it’s too late which can affect their health and quality of life. This is particularly important for those aged in their 50s and above. This campaign is a great initiative and we’re encouraging everyone in the area to ‘Test Your Ears At 55 Years’”.
